All looks great Greggo. I'd love to see your little piece of hell in person, man.
ReplyDeleteNever once did I see a hummer on my Black and Blue, and I have a lot of them planted too. The little buggers ignore them. Your garden looks great, just like every month. I love all your grasses, it is their time to shine.
ReplyDeleteYour plant combinations are inspired, and perfect for the amazing images you've captured. Nice that the hummer stopped by for your shot too!
ReplyDeleteAs always, your garden is awesome...and that hellstrip is inspirational!!! I love that photo of the hummingbird coming toward the Salvia...amazing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful gardens, everything looks so lovely right now.
ReplyDeleteCher Sunray Gardens
The hummingbird and salvia pic should be framed! Awesome shot! Happy GBBD!
ReplyDeleteYour September garden is so full even as we move into fall. Yarrow's blooms are so lovely as they fade into more form than color. I really like the way you were able to capture the colorful bloom with the faded bloom...very nice. Happy GBBD!
ReplyDeleteLots going on in your garden as autumn falls upon us. The hummers love my black and blue salvia as well. Great shot! I like that Blue Switchgrass.
ReplyDeleteHey Greggo, sweet selection in your beds. Heart that Yarrow...always seems that those Achillea would make sturdy dried flowers for terrariums. Humming bird magic btw. Happy GBBD! Matti
ReplyDeleteYou photograph silvers and blues so well--I am envious.
ReplyDeleteYour photos and gardens are always so lovely. Thanks for a glimpse of what late summer should look like.
ReplyDeleteYou have such beautiful combinations of plants, Greggo! Mealycup sage is one of my favorite annuals, probably because it's one of the few that actually looks better later in the season. Great hummer photo!
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks beautiful. Love that first picture. The crape myrtle is gorgeous. I must, must, must get same black and blue salvia! I bet people love to walk by your hell strip!
ReplyDeleteI am quite jealous of your garden. Lots going on there.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to rethink my garden...again. It may just turn into a desert garden....one that can stand freezes.
The hell strip looks great.
Hi Greggo... your photography is always so vibrant... great bocca as well. I could benefit from your knowledge... ever writing a book?!! Larry

ReplyDeletegreggo, your blues and reds are so vivid! I wish we could grow crepe myrtle this far north... I'm tempted to put one in a pot and bring it in for the winter. It's such a lovely and colorful addition to your garden.
ReplyDeleteHi Greggo,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing your blooms. I love your hellstrip. I need to sneak a couple tomato plants into the front yard next year. That hummingbird photo is awesome!
