Since I'm having a hard time completing my winter projects and starting (and completing) my spring projects, this will be mainly be a photo-graphical post with few if any labels. If you have a ID question, please leave me a question comment. Happy Garden Bloggers Bloom Day!

Looking back.
Where would we be on GBBD without a coneflower.
Or a little blue to cool those oranges.
Knipofia and Achillea 'Coronation Gold'.
As always to view other peoples blooms from around the world go t to see Carol @May Dream Gardens.
Beautiful gardens Greggo! Those hellstrips qualify for a better name as they are just heavenly.
ReplyDeleteYour gardens look just beautiful, Greggo! Love the red hot poker, salvia, achillea, and butterfly weed. Truly lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you've placed your Mexican feather grass in your hell strips. It must be such a beautiful year round display! Wow, you have yarrow and coneflowers already! Wishing you a Happy GBBD! Cheers, Jenni
ReplyDeleteOh Greggo those first few photographs with the grasse show me just how much Piet Oudolf has inpired your planting schemes........so beautiful.
ReplyDelete"Coronation Gold" yarrow is a crowning glory in your garden... Great photos!
ReplyDeleteYour plantings are absolutely beautiful as is your photography! Larry
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Greggo! Your garden always inspires me.
ReplyDeleteThat is an enviable picture of the blue Salvia, if indeed that is what it is. Wordpress gives the ability to show the title of your plant by simply running your cursor over the photo, I think you would appreciate this, I wonder if blogger has this option.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is looking so lush and lovely and colorful. I particularly like those grasses in your Hell strip. They add so much texture and fill in so nicely. Happy GBBD!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks terrific!
ReplyDeleteGotta get me some of that mullein. It's such a pretty plant.
Happy GBBD!
Lush and full of exciting stuff. Those verbascums are going to be magnificent. I should say more magnificent -- the leaves already are. Your hell strip really stands out from the rest of the neighborhood!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful views! People probably drive by just to see your gorgeous hell strip! Good luck on your projects. I know what you mean about projects that seem to never get completed! :)
ReplyDeleteYour hell strip makes me wish ours was wider. In the future I hope to convert our lawn hell strip to a perennial bed but wonder how to keep it looking as if the plants are lined up like soldiers because of the narrow, long dimensions. Yours is inspirational! Happy GBBD, Greggo.
ReplyDeleteYour gardens are lovely as usual. Love the oranges and purples on your hell strip. Happy spring and a happy GBBD!
ReplyDeleteOne heavenly hell strip. It must stop traffic. I love the Salvia photo, too.
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so nice and lush there. The color combos are lovely.

Your 'hell corner' looks just wonderful. I love the soft grasses, and the blue and orange colour combination too.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is beautiful!!! I like the "hell corner" hahaha. Funny.
ReplyDeleteHi Greggo,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the tour. Your place is looking awesome! I was going to ask what the shaggy grass is, but see that Jenni already named it.
What a splendid hell strip ! I hope mine looks half as good when it fills in.
ReplyDeleteLovely planting combination Greggo. And that zingy orange is just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteFantastic! Your garden is looking so beautiful. I love the plantings in bloom along the hell stripe. The arbor is just a great addition to it.
ReplyDeleteSuper-duper. That one shot with yellow, purple, and blue flowers is my favorite. That's also my standard color palatte with a little white mixed in for good measure and a few reds to say 'Look here!'.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is looking great, Greggo.
